My Why, well this is interesting as I did not buy my farm because it had Hops, I bought the land to have more space for family. When I stated to research what I bought I got interested, now my WHY is, can I make this happen. This is a brand new adventure or challenge that I would like to try out.

Business Why, I know that when I set my mind to something I will be successful and produce a product that people want.

Customer Why, Once I find my customers I know they will connect with me. It is all about relationships Once they see the product they will be happy with the quality. I am sure that my values, of integrity, professionalism, honesty and respect will align what they believe in.

Excellent, Dexter. Your entry point into this business is a bit different than others, so it makes sense that you are almost ‘reverse engineering’ your WHY. You have an asset already, in your hops, which you’re exploring how to leverage. You didn’t wake up one day and realize this is your purpose, and that’s ok. Lots of businesses are about leveraging existing assets. The trick for you will be figuring out who sees value in what you’ve got. You’ve got a few potential customer types, and now you need to figure out who will zero in on, and build a business model around that.
