As you explore the ‘Inspire’ section of planning your business, I want you to keep in mind, that each of your businesses is unique and your relationship with each customer is unique as well.
You want to develop a business that is founded on these unique relationships, which is the foundation of word of mouth which allows your business to grow into a viable venture. The saying is – “People don’t do business with businesses, people do business with people”.
You may ask, how that fits with Amazon, well it doesn’t, we buy from Amazon and Walmart for price and convenience which is not your competitive advantage. Small businesses cannot compete is the price game, but we can certainly compete in the quality and relationship game.
