Wow! You did learn a great deal, which is exactly the benefit of engaging in these interviews.

It is so easy to assume that we know what our customers need and want, and often we are off the mark. I cannot tell you how many entrepreneurs have told me that they based their business on their own wants and needs and in reflection, had no idea what their customers wanted.

Listening to the customer, or potential customer, is a critical business success strategy that does not end. Frankly, it is part of the adventure of business.
