The National Research Council is an amazing source of support for new innovative products.
If I could suggest a next step – it would be to define the market potential and any competitive products that are available. Consider competitive as any products that could meet the storage needs of the customer. This analysis is what we call a feasibility study – to determine if there is a market for the product and if so, what are the parameters that the customer needs/wants, i.e. performance, price, etc.
